Displaying religious amity, students of diverse faiths celebrated SAMATHUVA PONGAL at the ANNAI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOL0GY KUMBAKONAM.
The college wore a festive look as the faculty, management staff and boys turned up in the traditional dhotis, while women management staff, faculty and girls in traditional wear.
Students of all religions sinking their religious differences enthusiastically took part in the festival of harvest, also celebrated as ‘Tamizhar Thirunal’.
.Girls, assisted by faculty, cooked Pongal and distributed it to all in the college, while others gathered hailed ‘Pongalo Pongal’.
